Description
The device is discreetly disguised as a USB stick, which you can attach to your key ring or leave in your car, home or office. If you switch to sound activation, the recorder switches on when the noise level reaches 60 dB and returns to standby mode when it is quiet, to save power. When you connect the USB stick to a computer or a charger, it is continuously powered, allowing for a total recording time of up to 288 hours (depending on the quality setting) on the 8GB internal memory. Once you’ve retrieved your little friend, you can connect it to a computer and listen to or back up the files.
Of course, the USB stick also saves the date and time of the recording in the files. However, you can only adjust the date and time settings (as well as the audio quality settings) on a Windows computer. You can, of course, still listen to and back up the files on a Mac.
