Admittedly, this device is likely to be used more often by unprepared examinees than by professional detectives. And yet it is also of significance to our profession. You wear a completely invisible earpiece and can communicate with the person you are speaking to without being noticed. They hear what is being said around you, and you hear what they are saying. Those around you are completely unaware of it.

Description
After putting the device through its paces, we immediately removed the three previous models from our range and sent them for recycling. In light of the new headset, they are simply no longer viable. How does it work? You wear the main unit – the heart of the device – discreetly on your body (we recommend using the supplied cord to wear it around your neck). This contains a SIM card (make sure the PIN is deactivated!). You ‘tuck’ the small speaker into your ear; with a diameter of 6 millimetres, it is so small that it is undetectable to those around you. The main unit also houses the microphone, through which your ‘announcer’ can hear what is going on around you.
It couldn’t be simpler to use, as it operates with just a single button. This button allows you to check the battery level, adjust the volume (which has three settings), and, if desired, restrict automatic call forwarding to a specific caller only.
In principle, you can also use the device as a GSM listening device by placing the main unit somewhere and listening in remotely via a GSM call.
The main unit and a button cell battery in the small earpiece provide up to 4 hours of talk time. But no oral exam is likely to last any longer than that. The only exceptions would be interrogations in Siberia – and we don’t deliver there.
