We put the device through its paces. It records to microSD cards with a maximum capacity of 128GB. However, this is more than enough for a single battery charge (3.5 hours of video recording). It is extremely easy to use, and all commands \u2013 which are confirmed by vibration and light signals (the lights go out during recording!) \u2013 are controlled via a single button. You really can\u2019t go wrong. Video files are transferred by plugging the stick into a PC\/Mac or via a card reader. A text file can be used to set the date and time to be displayed in the videos (with or without an overlay), and the loop recording function (where the first recordings are overwritten when the card is full) and motion detection are also easy to configure via this feature. We advise against using the \u201cMotion Detection\u201d function, as with this device, one frame is saved per second until movement is detected in front of the lens again, at which point full recording at 25 frames per second begins. The battery is therefore not conserved \u2013 only the memory. Operation whilst connected (to a power bank, PC\/Mac or charger) is also possible. In combination with a small 5,000mAh power bank (item number VCC-0008 in the \u201cVideo Accessories\u201d section) and a 128GB MicroSD card, you can achieve a runtime of 21 hours (as tested by us) and a recording time of 15.5 hours. <\/p>\n
